ANTONUTTI VINI
21 Via L. D'Antoni Colloredo di Prato
With exactly one hundred years of history, a wide and qualified production, and the stimulating exchange between four generations, Antonutti Vini is proud of its heritage. Located in Pasian di Prato, the company, led by Adriana Antonutti and her husband Lino Durandi, boasts over fifty hectares of vineyards in the DOC Friuli Grave region, partly on lean, stony soils on the right bank of the Tagliamento and partly on richer, clayey soils. Careful management respects the varietal characteristics of each grape.
Producing over one million bottles, the range of wines is continually evolving. For stylistic reasons, the white wines are not aged in wood to maintain aromatic and taste clarity, blending simplicity and linearity with an interesting richness of nuances. The red wines, full-bodied and velvety, are aged in tonneaux to enhance the potential of the red grape varieties. Notable among them is the Poppone, a blend of Merlot from dried grapes, and Pignolo, a native Friulian variety. The winery also offers noteworthy sparkling wines, both traditional method and Charmat.
In the elegant representative headquarters in Pasian di Prato, the company organizes guided tours of the winery and tastings.
