Founded in 1918, in Ceresetto di Martignacco, a town nestled at the foot of one of the most beautiful hills in Friuli, Giuseppe Buiese purchased an existing distillery and the adjacent manor house from the Miani counts. From the very beginning, their grappa and liqueurs stood out for their quality, and by the early 1920s, the distillery had already received national and international awards.

In 1962, Remo Buiese, who had inherited the business from his father, decided to move the operation to Martignacco to meet growing demand. There, he built a new facility, allowing for increased production in both quantity and quality. Over the years, several expansions followed, culminating in 1999 when Remo, together with his son Cristiano, completed the construction of the current facility, which houses the aging cellars and new distillation plants.

Next to the distillery is the company shop, where visitors can taste and purchase all Buiese distillates and liqueurs.
