Osteria Aquila Nera was founded by Luca and Patrizia Masarotti in the spring of 2011. In both the kitchen and the dining room, passion is the driving force behind the results. The place may be simple, but every detail is carefully placed. All attention is dedicated to the customer, who should feel good—like at home, maybe even better.

This intention is reflected in their approach: the use of fresh, high-quality, niche products; attentiveness to the customer; a menu that changes every five weeks; and a wide selection of local wines, also available by the glass. The dishes are born from the passion for cooking of chef Paolo Danelon, with a focus on respecting raw ingredients, their seasonality, the pursuit of excellence, and Friulian tradition.
