Villa Manin

A residence worthy of a king. This is how Carlo Goldoni described 'the immense palace and superb gardens of Passariano belonging to the Counts Manin'. Such was the astonishment that greeted him at the sight of Villa Manin.
The same feeling that visitors can experience today.
Villa Manin is one of the largest Venetian villas built, witness to the wealth of the noble family of Lodovico Manin, the last doge of the Venetian Republic.
From the central body, the two barchesse delimit the courtyard of honour, followed by the two exedras embracing the round square towards the surrounding countryside.
