Caorle

Modern seaside town with ancient roots of Roman origin, its town centre littered with the typical pastel-coloured houses of Venetian tradition. Caorle has its own lagoon and typical ‘casoni’, fishermen’s huts of old made of reeds and wood. A fishing tradition which is still alive today, as you may notice from its lively fish market, where you can find tourists and restaurant owners alike.
