Conegliano

Town of Roman origin, known as the “pearl of Veneto”, it is set like a jewel between mountain and plains. Together with Valdobbiadene, it is the capital of Prosecco DOCG wine production, and it hosts characteristic events: the Dama Castellana (in June), a game of checkers with characters dressed up in Renaissance costumes, and Enodama (in September), always checkers but with glasses of red or white wine instead of the regular pieces.
