Some of the most renowned white wines in the world were born here, such as Ribolla gialla, Pinot grigio, Sauvignon, Picolit, Friulano, and among the red wines, most notable are Pignolo and Refosco dal peduncolo rosso. Last but not least, Schioppettino, a red wine with a spicy, peppery aftertaste.
